 Working inside the skin’s surface this retinol formulation normalises keratinisation, which improves and regulates cell renewal. Our unique technology utilises our exclusive Bioactive Base, which up-regulates positive metabolic genes, such as the newly discovered anti-wrinkle gene PYCR1 without stimulating inflammatory-related genes. The results experienced include a more positive, youthful response to retinoids with more stimulation and less irritation. Our patent pending bioemulsions can deliver 200-300% more retinol without initiating irritation when compared to conventional retinol emulstions.

 Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A): (antioxidant) (brightening) Vitamin A neutralises harmful elements in the skin, helping to prevent wrinkles, resist infections and keep skin looking youthful. Clinical results show that vitamin A palmitate significantly increases the composition of collagen, DNA, skin thickness and elasticity, resulting in healthier and younger looking skin.

 Salicylic Acid: (exfoliates, de-wrinkles) (brightening) Also know as Beta Hydroxy Acid, Salicylic Acid is reported to improve wrinkling, roughness and mottled pigmentation of photo-damaged skin by assisting in the sloughing of the epidermis to prevent clogged pores. By promoting new cell growth, it results in younger, healthier cells appearing on the skin’s surface. Salicylic Acid is also effective in reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and improves overall facial texture by exfoliating both the skin’s surface and within pores.

 Glycolic Acid: (exfoliates) (brightening) Also known as a Hydroxyacetic Acid, Glycolic Acid is the smallest Alpha-Hydroxy Acid (AHA), providing a combination of benefits, including reduced skin irritation, early removal of dry skin scales and optimized moisture levels. These three factors result in a healthier looking epidermis. Research shows that the use of Glycolic Acid products results in a measurable improvement in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Glycolic Acid has been reported to improve dry, thickened, sun-damaged and problem-prone skin.

 Lactic Acid: (moisturizes, de-wrinkles) (brightening) An Alpha-Hydroxy Acid Is noted for its rich moisturizing attributes and ability to exfoliate dead skin cells without provoking skin irritation. Research findings directly link Lactic Acid to the diminishing of fine lines and wrinkles, reduction in skin hyperpigmentation and improvement in skin texture and tone.

 Malic Acid: (exfoliates) (brightening) An Alpha-Hydroxy organic acid that is commonly found in apples, as well a variety of other fruits. It accelerates and visually enhances the skin’s surface via the mild exfoliation of dead skin cells from within the skin’s layers. These actions give the skin a healthier, younger, smoother and firmer appearance.

 EGCG has been shown to prevent UV-caused cancerous and non-cancerous skin tumors. Shown to be effective at assisting in melanin synthesis by reducing irritation. Green tea catechins are potent antioxidants that provide health benefits beyond their ability to neutralise free radicals.

 Sodium Hyaluronate: (moisturizes) A highly effective moisturizer functioning in a wide humidity range, from air-conditioned, low humidity environments to high-humidity climates.

 Lysolecithin: (antioxidant) (moisturizing) (from soybeans) Contains isoflavones that help improve the skin’s moisture content via a complete protein profile, enabling it to provide all essential amino acids not synthesized by the human body, Soybean oil contains natural antioxidants, which help to condition and moisturize the skin. Safflower Acids: (moisturizing) consists primarily of triglycerides of Linoleic Acid. Linoleic Acid is an important carrier of vitamins A, D, K and especially vitamin E. It is essential in preventing skin from drying and flaking, maintaining cell membrane integrity to regulate cholesterol metabolism and for synthesis of hormones.

Vitamin C can help to firm and tone skin and is and is an antioxidant that and can help reduce skin damage caused by free radicals. Therefore, when Vitamin C is properly delivered into skin cells, there is a good chance to reduce wrinkles and improve skin texture.

DESCRIPTION: A breakthrough skin treatment formula with a patent pending delivery system designed to aid in skin retexturising of higher percentages of Retinol and Alpha Hydroxy Acids. Utilising vital Amino Acids, two forms of Vitamin A, three Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Vitamin E and a Beta Hydroxy Acid this complex is must for all skin types. With the addition of our Pigment Regulating Technology (PRT) this new formulation helps to regulate melanin production to provide enhanced benefits for the skin.

DIRECTIONS: Should be used in the evening following your corrector step. Apply 1 pump and spread evenly over the entire face. An additional amount can be applied to the neck area. For enhanced activity, and for more tolerant skin types, it may be used twice daily - in the evening (as instructed) and in the morning prior to Société Prime & Defend SPF 30 sunscreen application!
